Eduaide in ChatGPT, Claude and Muse
What the connector does
- Makes materials with Eduaide's own generator and templates. The assistant passes on your request and shows the result.
- Saves every material to your Eduaide library and returns a link to it, so you can open, edit or export it in Eduaide.
- Uses the same monthly credits as the Eduaide website. There is nothing to buy inside the assistant.
- Works with any Eduaide account: Free, Pro, or a school or district plan.
- Never deletes or edits a material. Every new material is saved alongside the ones you have.
What to ask
- "Make a 5th grade water cycle quiz in Eduaide."
- "Use Eduaide to make a Frayer Model for photosynthesis for my 7th graders."
- "Make a Jeopardy review game on fractions in Eduaide for 4th grade."
- "Make a Spanish version of my water cycle quiz in Eduaide."
- "Find the fractions lesson I made in Eduaide last week."
The four tools
- Create material
create_material - Makes a lesson plan, quiz, graphic organizer, review game or other Eduaide resource in your library, from a topic and grade plus an optional template, standard or learning objective. Returns a preview and a link to the saved material. Uses 3 credits (Free: 24 a month; Pro: unlimited).
- Differentiate material
differentiate_material - Makes an adapted copy of a lesson plan, quiz, worksheet or other document in your library, such as a lower reading level, sentence frames for English language learners, a translation or an answer key. Saves it as a new material and leaves the original unchanged. Games, graphic organizers and assessments from the Assessment Builder can't be adapted. Requires Eduaide Pro.
- List materials
list_materials - Finds materials in your library by name or format, newest first. Uses no credits.
- Get material
get_material - Opens one material from your library so the assistant can show it, with a link to it in Eduaide. Uses no credits.
Permissions you grant
- Read materials
materials:read - The consent page shows it as "See the materials in your library." Used by list_materials and get_material.
- Create materials
materials:write - The consent page shows it as "Make new materials in your account, using your monthly credits." Used by create_material and differentiate_material.
How to connect
- Find Eduaide in your assistant's app or connector directory and choose to connect it.
- Sign in to Eduaide in the window that opens, or create a free account.
- Check the assistant named on the page, pick your permissions, and choose Allow.
- Back in your assistant, ask for what you need and mention Eduaide, for example "Make a 5th grade water cycle quiz in Eduaide."
What Eduaide receives and sends
Your assistant sends Eduaide only what a tool needs, such as the topic, grade, template or standard for a new material, or which material to open. Eduaide sends back the materials you asked for: titles, content or previews, links, your plan and how many credits you have left. Eduaide's logs and analytics don't record the topic of a request or the content of a material.
Please don't include student names or other student information in your requests. The assistant keeps what it receives under its own privacy policy. The details are in our privacy policy.
How to disconnect
In Eduaide, open Settings, find Connected apps and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. Its access ends right away, and its next request is refused until you connect again.
Materials it made stay in your library. Deleting your Eduaide account removes every connection. Removing Eduaide only in your assistant's settings may leave the connection on Eduaide's side until it expires, so disconnect in Eduaide too.
